The Tangled Bank: Love, Wonder, and Evolution

Posted in Australia, Putting the Pimp Hat On, Stardust, Stories I like on September 16, 2010 by bloodandstardust

This news is a bit dated but I’ve been meaning to post something about the The Tangled Bank: Love, Wonder, and Evolution.

I just love the title of the anthology. Author, poet, and editor Chris Lynch has assembled a wonderful collection of poetry and short stories commemorating and celebrating Charles Darwin. Highly recommended.

Right now it is available as an E Publication but I’m told it will be available in print in the future.

LCRW #25

Posted in My Fiction, Putting the Pimp Hat On, Stardust, Stories I like, Uncategorized on March 30, 2010 by bloodandstardust

My short story Music of the Spheres will be appearing in the next issue of LCRW. Issue #25.

I’m also excited to announce it will appear along with a story by Ben Francisco called This is Not Concrete. I’m very excited to read This is Not Concrete again. It is a hell of a story and I think people are going to love it.

I suspect most people reading this post already know of and read LCRW. If you don’t, now is a great time to get on board and give your self an excellent brain-candy treat !

Karen Russell author of the story collection “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves” has an amazing piece in the lives section of this past sunday times.

Her writing is remarkable and has appeared in Conjunctions, Granta, Zoetrope, Oxford American, and The New Yorker. Those who read LCRW know that she was published there first.
