We celebrated the launch of The Wish Mechanics with a launch party at KGB Bar.

I’ve read at KGB Bar many times over the years and it always feels like home.

True to form I read not one, not two but zero tales from the new book!

I was deep into my exploration of the strange tale so at the last minute I decided to read two stories that I felt illustrated what I was thinking about and writing about on that day.

I read Tommy’s Shadow and The Monkey Coat. I will post more on those choices and some photos from the night shortly.
