The Sphinx of Cropsey Avenue at Lyrics Lit and Liquor on June 6, 2017. Hi-Fi Bar NYC

On June 6, 2017 I was one of the readers at Amanda Miller’s Lyrics Lit and Liquor series.

True to the series title there were lyrics, lit, and liquor. I was part of the lit. I think I drank a gin and tonic with author Nicholas Kaufmann who was there. A clown band played some music.

I read the opening passage from The Sphinx of Cropsey Avenue from the Night Marchers and Other Strange Tales. I noticed an unplanned theme of stories about children and childhood developed over the evening. Which was underscored by the trivia and the clown band.

The Fourth Bell at Line Break in Astoria. June 3, 2017

On June 3, 2017 I read at the Line Break reading series in Astoria New York.

I read the first two sections from my short story The Fourth Bell which is forthcoming in the anthology The Beauty of Death II- Death by Water.

Following the event wonderful Greek food was had with author John Foster and poet Olena Jennings.
